Ex-Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail dies

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi announced on Sunday the death at 67 years of former Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
“I deeply mourn for this virtuous man from the best people of Egypt,” al-Sisi said, noting that the conscience of the nation was embodied in Ismail.
Today in Cairo will be the funeral of Sherif Ismail. It is known that recently the ex-premier was seriously ill, but the details of his death are unknown.
Recall that Sherif Ismail served as Minister of Oil in 2013-2015, and from September 2015 to June 14, 2018 he headed the Egyptian government.
