Estonian Prime Minister Kallas: it is increasingly difficult to maintain the unity of the West on the situation in Ukraine

Estonian Minister Kaja Kallas in a conversation with a newspaper Financial Times stated that at the moment it is becoming increasingly difficult for the West to maintain unity regarding the Ukrainian conflict.

According to her, at the moment, representatives of Western countries want the hostilities to stop, but there is a question of what can stop them.

“Some people think that we will make this last effort and after that we will draw a line and end the active actions, then this position is worrying,” Kallas said.

She clarified that, in particular, the Baltic politicians are concerned about the fact that some countries are ready to soften their position and persuade Ukraine to negotiate with the Russian Federation.
