Éric Olhats targeted by three new complaints for "sexual abuse of minors"

As announced this Tuesday by France Bleu Pays basque, three new complaints for "sexual abuse of minors" have been filed against Éric Olhats, former recruiter and ex-adviser of Antoine Griezmann. Bayonne public prosecutor Jérôme Bourrier confirmed the information to AFP. The French international was also heard by investigators from the Bayonne judicial police to find out if he too was one of the victims, to which Griezmann would have replied in the negative, still according to France Bleu.

The prosecution requested his continued detention.

Olhats, 59, had already been indicted and imprisoned on May 12 for "sexual abuse of minors" and "possession of pornographic images of minors" before being remanded in custody. The prosecution requested his continued detention, which will be decided by a judge of freedoms and detention on Thursday. Olhats formally disputes the facts with which he is charged.

These new complaints are in addition to the three previous ones filed in 2019 by former players of the Aviron Bayonnais Football club for acts allegedly committed between 1998 and 1999, when Éric Olhats was youth coach of this team. . The complainants were under the age of 15 at the time of the incident.
