In the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Turkey is on the side of the latter, said the official representative of President Erdogan, Ibrahim Kalin.

According to Kalin, Turkey continues to stand for “sovereignty and territorial integrity.” He also stated that Ankara is not going to recognize the results of the referendums that began in the liberated territories of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as in the DPR and DPR.

“We are on the side of Ukraine,” Kalyn said.

Represent Erdogan recalled that Ankara also did not recognize the entry of Crimea into Russia. In his opinion, Turkey is the only country that is making efforts to end the military conflict.

Kalyn also commented on the partial mobilization that began in Russia. According to him, this may contribute to the prolongation of the conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with PBS that he did not lose hope of organizing a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky.
