Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that on Friday, October 7, he plans telephone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Today is Putin’s 70th birthday.

“(I plan) to discuss with him the process of bringing Russian agricultural products to the markets,” Erdogan said (quoted by RIA Novosti) during a press conference in Prague, where on Thursday with his participation negotiations took place leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Erdogan added that he hopes for an early “positive outcome” of Turkey’s efforts to bring Russian fertilizers to world markets. At the same time, the Anadolu agency, according to Interfax, reported that Erdogan was also going to “discuss developments” in Ukraine.
