Entrance to Georgia through Upper Lars closed due to bad weather

Traffic on the section from Vladikavkaz to the village of Lars is prohibited for all types of vehicles due to the deterioration of weather conditions in Georgia. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for North Ossetia. The ban was introduced from 19:15 until further notice.
“Due to the worsening weather conditions on the territory of Georgia, the impossibility of ensuring the safe passage of vehicles, and also taking into account the recommendations of the Georgian border police, movement is prohibited for all types of vehicles on the section of the city of Vladikavkaz-the settlement of Lars in the direction of leaving the Russian Federation,” – says in message.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for North Ossetia urged traffic participants to change the route, taking into account the current situation.
