Endocrinologist warned about possible problems from using sunscreen

Sunscreen crepe, or rather, the SPF products contained in it, can become a problem for the body, endocrinologist Zukhra Pavlova wrote in her personal Telegram channel.

She noted that these substances containing mineralizing particles impede the production of vitamin D3. At the same time, according to her, most Russians usually work indoors during the day, which means that their bodies will not receive the required amount of ultraviolet radiation, and hence vitamin D.

At the same time, according to Pavlova, you should not completely abandon sunscreen, as it protects against premature aging and cancer.

The expert also noted that excessive hygiene also negatively affects the retention of vitamin D3 in the body. So, in the presence of a daily hot bath and the use of soaps and gels, active sebum is washed out, which forms the basis for the synthesis of the vitamin.
