Almost 4.5 thousand jobs will be created after the reorganization of the former industrial site in Western Dergunin. Health and education facilities, shops, residential buildings and sports complexes will be built on the site of the warehouses.

According to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov, this is a site of the former Degunino-Likhobory industrial zone.

It will be reorganized as part of the comprehensive development of the territory of the capital. Now there are mainly car services and warehouses. But soon there will be a modern microdistrict with all the necessary infrastructure.

“The area of ​​the territory subject to integrated development is 15.3 hectares. Investments are estimated at 38.5 billion rubles, and the annual budgetary effect for the city will exceed 1.6 billion rubles. As a result of the project implementation, almost 4.5 thousand new jobs will be created,” Yefimov specified.

The construction of almost 390 thousand square meters of real estate is planned. Minister of the Moscow government, head of the Department of City Property Maxim Gaman stressed that 240,000 “squares” of them will be allocated for the construction of modern housing. Nearly 150,000 will be left for public and business facilities.

The redevelopment of the site will be carried out either by the owners or by an investor attracted by the results of the auction.
