According to him, from the first days of December, those products that Russians are used to seeing on their holiday table will begin to rise in price in stores.
“From the first of December, a gradual increase in food prices will begin in Russia. First of all, the cost will increase for durable goods,” Belyaev added.
He specified that one of the most significant will be the increase in the price of fish delicacies. Growth is expected by 10-15% in fish and caviar. Among other things, cognac, sparkling wines and smoked meats may increase in price.
“Delicacy smoked meats will rise in price around 10%. Most likely, alcohol will increase in price by 10%. In any case, the price increase will affect the cognac group and good sparkling wines,” Belyaev emphasized.
