Dynamo Vologda players lost on the road to a team from Moscow

Last Sunday for the Vologda football club “Dynamo” was another game in the Second League of Russia. The meeting took place on the road with the Moscow team “Dynamo-2”. Despite all the efforts of athletes from Vologda, the victory remained with the home team. Match score – 2:1.
The first goal against the Vologda residents was scored in the 18th minute after a successfully implemented attack by the opponents. However, the leadership of Dynamo-2 did not last long. Five minutes later, Kirill Korepov equalized when his teammate successfully kicked a corner. Both teams went to the break with a draw.
In the second half, the Muscovites became much more active and stubborn, which allowed them to take the lead in the 63rd minute. At the same time, the gap between the rivals could have been greater if not for the confident performance of the Vologda goalkeeper Alexander Lobanov. For the entire match, the players from Vologda managed to deliver seven shots on the opponent’s goal, and their opponents – 17.
Due to the loss, the Vologda residents still have 20 points, they are in fourth place in the standings. Dynamo’s next game will take place at the home stadium on October 8. The rival will be another Moscow team “Chertanovo”.
