In February 2021, Alexei Navalny was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison in the Yves Rocher case. In 2022, he was sentenced to nine years under the article on fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and insulting participants in the trial (part 1 and part 2 of article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Nine years is the term for the totality of all punishments.
