Traditionally, the Renaudot Prize jury establishes two lists for its first selection: that of novels and those of essays. In the first category, four novelists also appear on the Goncourt selection.
The Prix Renaudot jurors met under the chairmanship of Dominique Bona on Wednesday September 7 at Drouant and proceeded to their back-to-school selection.
Grégoire Bouillier, Monica Sabolo, Nathan Devers and Yves Ravey are the only four authors to also appear on the first Goncourt selection announced on Tuesday September 6. This time, the Grasset house, absent from Goncourt, is represented twice in the “novels” category, with Simon Liberati, Claudie Hunzinger and Laurence Nobécourt.
The next selections will take place at the Hôtel de Massa on October 13 and 27, and the prizes will be awarded on November 3 at Drouant.
