Diplomat Rude: US is looking for an affordable country to issue immigrant visas to Russians

Chargé d’Affaires a.i. in Moscow Elizabeth Rood said that America is trying to find more convenient and affordable places for Russian residents to obtain immigrant visas.
According to her, it is currently very difficult for Russian citizens to get to the capital of Poland, Warsaw, where this category of visas is processed.
“We are trying to find and identify other, more accessible places for Russians for this purpose,” Rud said.
She added that the United States of America is still ready to accept Russians who want to come to study in America or visit this country.
