Diplomat Nozdrev: the line for NATO’s advancement in the Asia-Pacific region is being clearly formulated

Nikolay Nozdrev, Director of the Third Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that at the moment a line is being clearly drawn up for promoting NATO’s potential in the Asia-Pacific region with the help of any tools.
According to him, this process is taking place based on regional “focus” partners such as Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. All of them are considered by representatives of the White House as connecting elements of the global architecture according to Euro-Atlantic standards.
“Now it becomes clear that the line for promoting – with the help of any tools – its potential in the Asia-Pacific region is already clearly taking shape,” Nozdrev noted.
