Diplomat Nebenzya answered a question about peace in Ukraine in 2023

According to Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, the situation with the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine will change for the better when the West stops pumping weapons into Kyiv and starts listening to Moscow’s concerns.
Answering the question at a press conference about “whether we will see peace in Ukraine in 2023”, Nebenzya said: “We all hope for peace.”
“I would like to hope that when this pumping of weapons and this madness stops, when those who are waging this proxy war against us with the help of the poor citizens of Ukraine … stop, when they begin to listen to our concerns, then I think the prospects for peace will become closer. For now Unfortunately, I do not see any readiness for constructive cooperation on the other side,” the Russian diplomat stressed.
