American Alice Day told why she came to Red Square with a calf on a leash. According to her, she just wanted to show the cow beautiful views, this was not an animal protection action.
“I just wanted to show the Red Square to the Doctor. I love Russia, I thought he would be pleased to spend time there, ”she explained, her words are conveyed by telegram channel Shot.
The woman added that she rented a stall in the stable and settled her pets there. She noted that she did this to save animals from the slaughterhouse. If the calf ended up in a shelter, then her heart is calm and she does not regret anything, Day added.
At the same time, the police said that Day shouted “Animals are not food” in the square and interfered with the passage of people.
Day has become a news heroine more than once because of her actions and performances. In 2019, she rescued a pig on a Devon farm from slaughter, after which she settled in her small apartment in London. She also traveled around Poland with a ram and showed him the center of Warsaw.
