Deputies proposed to fine for hiring unregistered military servicemen

They submitted two bills to the State Duma, which will have to help the military registration and enlistment offices

Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Kaluga Region propose to increase the reliability of military records. On Tuesday, January 24, they submitted two bills to the State Duma, one of which determines in which cases those liable for military service will have to present documents confirming registration, and the other - how to punish employers who do not require the provision of such documents.

As it became known to MK, both bills will have to help military registration and enlistment offices with the registration of Russians liable for military service prescribed by law. The first bill provides for amendments to the laws on the right of citizens to freedom of movement, the choice of place of stay and residence, traffic safety and weapons. Kaluga legislators believe that it is necessary to oblige those liable for military service when registering at the place of residence, obtaining a license for a weapon and a driver's license, to provide a document on their military registration. By the way, this initiative of Kaluga residents was supported by the council of legislators under the Central Federal District.

The second bill will have to facilitate the registration of citizens who want to find a job. It provides for administrative responsibility for the admission to the staff of citizens who have not provided a document on registration for both employers and legal entities, and for employees responsible for military registration work. Legislators believe that they should be punished with a fine - from 10 to 20 thousand rubles for officials, from 5 to 10 thousand rubles for entrepreneurs working without forming a legal entity, and a legal entity is proposed to be fined 50-100 thousand rubles. Separately, liability is stipulated for failure to report by the head or other official of the organization responsible for military registration work to the military registration and enlistment office information about recruited or dismissed military servicemen. For this, the deputies propose to punish with a fine of 5 to 25 thousand rubles.
