Demand for general powers of attorney increased in Russia amid mobilization

Since the beginning of partial mobilization in Russia, the number of applications for issuance of powers of attorney for the management and disposal of property has increased. This was reported in the press service of the Federal Notary Chamber (FNP).

“This is largely due to the appeals of mobilized citizens, who often need to urgently issue this or that document. Someone comes without a summons in hand and not knowing for sure whether he falls under mobilization or not, but wants to make sure, ”the FNP said (quote from “RIA News”).

According to the press service, the popularity of the so-called “general licenses”, which give the right to manage property, represent interests in government agencies and other organizations, has grown.

Partial mobilization in Russia began on September 21. It will cover 300,000 reservists. Citizens from the reserve with the necessary military specialties and combat experience are subject to mobilization – primarily soldiers, foremen and warrant officers up to 35 years old and junior officers up to 50 years old.

What benefits for the mobilized were promised to be provided by the FNP – in the material “Kommersant FM” “Notaries went forward”.
