Defense Ministry: Magadan submarine fired Kalibr missiles in the Sea of Japan

The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the newest diesel-electric submarine of the Pacific Fleet Magadan launched Caliber missiles from a submerged position at sea and coastal targets.
It is specified that the Magadan missile launches were carried out from the Sea of Japan. The blows were inflicted on the target positions. Thus, the first missile hit a naval target - a target shield, which was an imitation of an enemy surface ship. The second missile hit a coastal target at the Surkum tactical field.
"The new diesel-electric submarine Magadan launched Caliber cruise missiles from a submerged position at coastal and sea targets," the agency added.
