CSTO explained why Secretary General Zas did not meet with Pashinyan

CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas did not meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan due to the fact that Pashinyan went to the UN General Assembly in New York. This was stated by the CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov.
The CSTO mission arrived in Armenia earlier after the relevant decision of the Security Council of the organization on September 13. Meetings were held with representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan, but there were no negotiations with Pashinyan.
“The Secretary General did not communicate with Pashinyan, since he flew to New York for the 77th UN General Assembly at that time,” Zainetdinov said.
Recall that on the night of September 13, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border again aggravated. The parties accused each other of starting hostilities.
