Information about the damaged pillars of the Crimean bridge is “another lie of Ukrainian propagandists,” Kommersant was told in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. The day before, Ukrainian Telegram channels began to actively disseminate information that the pillars of the Crimean bridge were seriously damaged and could soon collapse.

As Kommersant was told in the Crimean Council of Ministers, these data and photographs, which are used by the Ukrainian CIPSO, do not correspond to reality and are another informational sabotage. The Crimean authorities urge citizens not to believe rumors and rely only on official sources of information.

According to Rosavtodor specialists, the Russian Telegram channel reports “War on Fake”, pillars of the Crimean bridge supports have an integral coating without cracks and destruction. Also, the line configuration in the fake photos, with lots of right angles and uniform thickness, doesn’t match what real cracks look like.

On October 8, a truck exploded on the Crimean bridge. Four people died. Two car spans collapsed, the railway track was damaged. Russian law enforcement agencies qualified the incident as a terrorist attack and blamed Ukraine for it. Traffic on the automobile part was fully restored in February, on the railway – in May. They do not want to start the movement of trucks because of the threat of provocations, said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
