He was found guilty on six of the 13 counts.

In 2019, singer R Kelly was arrested in Chicago on a range of charges. In 2022, the artist was sentenced by a New York court to 30 years in prison for racketeering, as well as transporting women and minors for prostitution. But the process did not end there, and the prison term of the 55-year-old artist may increase after he is found guilty on several more counts.

Ar Kelly was found guilty on three counts of creating child pornography and three counts of soliciting minors to engage in sexual acts, according to CBS. His goddaughter and two other girls who became his victims testified against the artist.

It is noted that at the same time, the singer and his two accomplices were acquitted on seven counts, among which were obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obtain child pornography.

Under the law, for each charge of creating child pornography, Ar Kelly faces an increase in the term of up to 20 years, and each individual case of sexual inducement carries a sentence of up to 10 years.
