Construction of the GTO site has been completed in the Krasnoborsky District

In the village of Bolshaya, Krasnoborsky district, the installation of an additional set of sports equipment at a small GTO site has been completed. The equipment was purchased as part of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life.” This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.

“This site became the second equipped in the Krasnoborsky district as part of a federal project,” emphasized Sergei Pivkov, Deputy Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region. – Last year, similar equipment was installed in the village of Cherevkovo. This year, about 15 pieces of equipment were purchased; the new site is located on the territory of the Permogorsk school and is equipped on a sandy base. Now the local administration is planning to install rubber coating as part of the regional project “Comfortable Pomorie,” initiated last year by the region’s governor, Alexander Tsybulsky. I hope that the new opportunities will inspire residents of the district to lead an active lifestyle.

The regional government, together with the regional Ministry of Sports, continues to actively work to create conditions for sports. GTO sites not only promote physical development, but also strengthen public health. Local residents, including children and teenagers, can engage in physical training and pass the standards of the GTO complex near their home.
