Soviet and Russian composer and pop singer Vyacheslav Dobrynin died at the age of 78. The death of the composer was reported RBC his wife Irina. Vyacheslav Dobrynin was born on January 25, 1946 in Moscow. In 1970, he graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in art history and art criticism. In the same year he made his debut as a composer. In the 1970s, the composer met the poet Leonid Derbenev. Their collaboration continued until the latter's death in 1995. In 1972, VIA “Jolly Fellows” recorded the song they wrote, “Love Lives on Earth.” At the same time, the composer led VIA Lada and was a guitarist in Oleg Lundstrem's jazz orchestra.

In 1990, Mr. Dobrynin created the group “Doctor Shlyager”, with which he performed and recorded his own songs. In total, the composer has released more than 50 albums during his career, both solo and original. In collaboration with Mr. Derbenev, he wrote more than 100 compositions. Songs written by Vyacheslav Dobrynin were performed by Alla Pugacheva, Lev Leshchenko, Mikhail Boyarsky, Mikhail Shufutinsky and other popular artists. In 1996, the composer was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia.
