Comedy series “Nina” by Zhora Kryzhovnikov starts on TNT

October 3 on TNT will be released the series “Nina” with Victoria Isakova in the title role. Her heroine is a woman who suddenly lost her comfortable life and is forced to rebuild it, getting to know herself along the way and taking care of her unusual family.

Nina lived in a private house near Nizhny Novgorod with her third husband, Kostya (Andrey Burkovsky), who not only raised their daughter with Nina, but also her two children from other marriages. And besides, he helped Nina’s ex-husbands with money – a would-be businessman (Sergey Lavygin) and a crazy professor (Sergey Burunov). Gentle and touching, Nina was happy in her role as a housewife, so the news that Kostya was leaving her for her mistress (Yulia Khlynina) and depriving her of maintenance was shocking for the heroine. She, along with her children and husbands, has to settle in an ordinary socket, for the first time in many years, take a ride in public transport and understand that now she has to look for her place in this world, relying only on herself. For Nina, this is a difficult task, but she is not afraid to appear weak, and this is the feature of the new heroine Zhora Kryzhovnikov.

The series “Nina” in a comedic form tells about serious things – finding yourself in adulthood, meeting reality, as well as how not to fall apart after a divorce and start living independently.

The action of the series takes place in Nizhny Novgorod, and this is an important moment. Kostya is not the owner of newspapers and ships, and Nina is not the wife of an oligarch, and together they are experiencing a story that will be close and understandable to a wide audience of Russians.

Zhora Kryzhovnikov: “Thinking through the image of Nina, we kept in mind the image of Scarlett O’Hara, who said:” I’ll think about it tomorrow. Nina had a family, that was enough for her, but circumstances changed. In search of an actress, we quickly came to the candidacy of Victoria Isakova, but she doubted, because she calls herself a dramatic artist. As a result, she brought a lyrical mood to the project so that the audience not only laughed, but also empathized, sympathized with the heroine. I think that Nina will expand the palette of heroines who are fighting for the attention of TNT viewers in prime time.

Sergey Burunov about his hero: “Firstly, I am very flattered that Zhora Kryzhovnikov wrote this role for me. Apparently, he knows me very well as an artist, which is very nice. Secondly, there are always some moments for internal overcoming, because the image must be groped, to understand the logic of the character’s actions: where are his pain points, how does he react to what. It seems to me that we did all this under the clear guidance of Zhora, and it turned out to be a very interesting person, a little out of this world.

Andrei Burkovsky about his hero: “I really liked my role in Nina, because it is voluminous. The hero has both a guilt complex and strength, because he created a big business. At the same time, Kostya is very gentle in family relationships and in relationships with women. In the projects that Zhora Kryzhovnikov works on, there is always a strong script, and all the motivations of the characters are clear. Plus, Zhora always has an amazing team of artists, and in Nina she was especially incredible. Vika Isakova, Seryozha Burunov, Seryozha Lavygin, Zhenya Perevalov, Yulia Khlynina – the dream team!”
