China launches three Shiyan research satellites

China successfully launched three Shiyan environmental monitoring satellites into orbit on September 27. Xinhua news agency writes about it.
The launch took place at 07:50 local time (02:50 Moscow time) from the Taiyuan Cosmodrome.
The Shiyan-16A, Shiyan-16B and Shiyan-17 (“Shiyan-17”) vehicles were launched into space and were launched into a given orbit. For this, the Long March 6 launch vehicle (Changzheng-6, Changzheng-6) was used.
Shiyan will also be responsible for the early warning of natural disasters.
This launch was the 440th for the Changzheng series launch vehicles.
