Car line at the border with Georgia reached 5.5 thousand cars



The queue at the border with Georgia in North Ossetia has increased to 5.5 thousand cars, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed.

As noted, 3,600 cars on the territory of the republic are waiting to cross the border. In addition, there are 1,900 heavy trucks in transit, including 600 at the checkpoint. Representatives of the department inform about this.

Previously reportedthat pedestrian crossing of the border with Georgia was allowed at the Upper Lars checkpoint in North Ossetia. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the influx of cars heading to the Georgian border is seriously increasing. As specified, in the near future a mobilization point of the military registration and enlistment office will be opened at the checkpoint.
