Bloomberg: Canada and northern European countries create coalition against Russia and China
Bloomberg reports that Canada and northern European countries are working to create a coalition to counter China and Russia in the Arctic region.
It is noted that the coalition will supposedly provide an opportunity to coordinate defense, intelligence and cyber security. At the same time, it notes that the Canadian Foreign Ministry has already organized a meeting with the foreign ministers of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, where they discussed ways to create a dialogue on security in the Arctic.
At the same time, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly noted that the creation of a new format for security negotiations between the northern allies is necessary due to the fact that they no longer meet privately at the political level.
