INTERVIEW – Miss France 2015 launches a new magazine on the new favorite homes of the French, this Wednesday, September 7 in the first part of the evening. A show that resonates with his personal life.

It’s time to shout from the rooftops that Gulli is launching an exciting weekly magazine so the channel doesn’t take a hit. In “The new favorite houses of the French”which starts this Wednesday, September 7 in prime time, the host Camille Cerf will embody a series of fascinating reports during which she will highlight unique constructions. Whether it offers a breathtaking view of the sea, whether it invites itself into a mountainous setting or whether it is ecological, the house is one of the main subjects of concern for the French. During the first issue, the journalists trained their cameras on three couples of entrepreneurs who have chosen to build their home as a family. Interview with a Miss France, who is redecorating her home herself.

TV MAGAZINE. – Why did you agree to embody this new magazine?
Camille CERF. -I really found myself in the world of Gulli, which conveys positive waves, with light and very interesting subjects. We focused this summer on the favorite amusement parks of the French. There, we continue with the dream houses. We are going to film those who build their homes themselves, but we will also take the opportunity to give little tips so that the bill for the work is lower.

Are you going to meet these families?
I would have loved to go on the field but I will be on set to launch the subjects. For now, I’m not doing the voiceover either, but why not one day! The show is scheduled to air on multiple Wednesdays. I who am in the process of renovating my house, which is located in the Lille region, this program echoes what I am experiencing at the moment.

Did you manage to pick up some tips?
Yes, I wanted to fill doors and, thanks to the show, I understood how plasterboard worked. Everyone who embarks on the renovation of their house faces the same problem. It’s quite funny!

Where are you in your work?
I hope it will be ready for Christmas! This is the deadline I set for myself. The kitchen will be set up in October so it will be complicated to live there before then. Especially since we are in the process of reorganizing the entire plumbing network. Personally, I love the decor, and I really dreamed of this house. So being able to make it all happen is super exciting.

“The house of my dreams is the one where I spent my childhood, in Coulogne”

Camille Cerf, host of “New favorite houses of the French”

What would your dream house look like?
It’s the one where I grew up when I was little, in Coulogne, but which was sold when I moved. It’s not objective but I have beautiful memories in these walls, and it corresponded to everything I loved. New owners occupy it now, but when we go back to this village with my sister, we try to walk past her to see what has become of her. And it’s much less pretty than when we lived there… There’s plenty of grass in front of the gate, whereas with us, it was perfect!

The house is the foundation on which a family rests. Do you want to take the next step in your personal life?
Maybe it will come, but for the moment we have no more money (Laughs). We don’t live under bridges either, but one project at a time!

You are also busy with the morning show of Fun Radio, in which you participate every Monday…
I unfold a column in which I present everything I liked or disliked on social networks in the previous days. I’m only there once a week because it’s too complicated for me to free myself every day.

Many Miss France present morning shows on the air: Diane Leyre on Virgin, Malika Menard on MRadio. Élodie Gossuin embodied that of RFM for seven years. Do beauty queens like to get up early?
Above all, I think that radio is a medium on which we want to prove ourselves. Because this support is not based on our physicality. As Miss France, it’s interesting. Especially since the radio requires a lot of rigor so it’s good to start your career. I can’t wait to see how Diane will evolve because she is promising. She is the first Miss France to start her professional career during her reign. It was unthinkable before!
