Builders and argoproducers asked for a deferment from conscription

Kommersant reported that representatives of the construction industry and the agro-industrial complex of Russia asked the relevant ministries to give a respite from mobilization for their employees.
In a letter to Marat Khusnullin on behalf of the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials and the Construction Industry, a request was made for assistance in granting a deferment from the draft of workers in this area. A similar letter from the chairman of the Association of Nurseries and Gardeners of the Stavropol Territory was sent to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev.
In an official statement, representatives of the agro-industrial complex noted that the mobilization could affect almost irreplaceable workers, such as hydraulic engineers, agronomists and plant protection specialists and engineers.
Among other things, they noted that indicators for self-sufficiency have not yet been achieved. That was the reason for the request for a delay.
