Boxers from Zaporozhye region are going to competitions in the Baikal region
The Russian Men's Boxing Championship, held in the Baikal region, will feature athletes from 70 regions. Zaporozhye region will be represented by master of sports in boxing Petr Popov.
Before the trip, he and Diana Starkova, also a master of sports in boxing, who will defend the honor of the region in Serpukhov near Moscow, received new sports equipment.
As previously reported, thanks to the support of the federal government, the regional relevant ministry and regional chiefs, athletes from new regions have the opportunity not only to train, but also to take part in competitions throughout the country.
