Bloggers Dasha Koreika and Hilmi Forks opened an administrative case on LGBT propaganda

The Ministry of Internal Affairs opened an administrative case on LGBT propaganda (Article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) against the Tiktokers Dasha Koreika (Maxim Matveev) and Hilmi Forks. A procedural check is also being carried out against them to assess actions under the article on the illegal production of pornographic materials (Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This was reported “RIA News” with reference to the response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova, who had previously asked for an audit against bloggers publishing LGBT content.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the administrative case against Dasha Koreika and Hilmi Forks was opened on January 13. The investigation into it is still ongoing. The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that they refused to initiate an administrative case on drug propaganda. (Article 6.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported that they had sent materials against Dasha Koreika and Hilmi Forks to Roskomnadzor and the Investigative Committee of Russia. According to the department, the actions of bloggers show signs of violating the law on the protection of children from information harmful to health.

In December, State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova turned to the Prosecutor General’s Office and Roskomnadzor with a request to check the actions of Dasha Koreika and Hilmi Forks for spreading LGBT propaganda, transgenderism, broadcasting immoral behavior and insulting the feelings of believers.
