Blinovskaya sold her apartment for 90 million, but it didn’t help her

Blogger Elena Blinovskaya sold a three-room apartment in the Donskoy Olymp residential complex for 90 million rubles, but this did not help her pay off her debt to the tax authorities, writes SHOT.

Every day Blinovskaya is charged 500 thousand rubles in penalties for non-payment of taxes. The apartment was on sale for 120 days, during which time an additional 60 million rubles were accumulated. Thus, Blinovskaya will be able to send only 30 million towards the principal amount of the debt.

According to investigators, Blinovskaya, with the assistance of her husband Alexei, evaded paying taxes in the amount of 906 million rubles, of which 716 million were illegally legalized. Blinovskaya was detained in April 2023. She was initially placed under house arrest, but after violating its conditions, she was transferred to a pre-trial detention center.
