Belgorod players failed to beat Kolomna

In Kolomna, the meeting of the 13th round of the national football championship among teams of the second league ended, in which Kolomna hosted Salut Belgorod. In the first half, a few spectators saw four goals scored.

A double in the Muscovites was marked by midfielder Andrey Pazni. Andrey Ivanteev and Nikita Boyarkin scored for the Belgorod team. In the second 45-minute, the teams failed to hit the opponent's goal, leaving the score tied on the scoreboard - 2:2. At the post-match press conference, Belgorod head coach Viktor Navochenko apologized to the fans.

“We started the game very badly, let the opponents control the ball, gave us a lot of space, reacted late, conceded a goal. Then they turned on speed and struggle, scoring two goals, but they could not keep the victory. In justification, I can say that we have the third game in eight days," Navochenko summed up.

Having scored 27 points and taking advantage of a misfire from a direct competitor, the Salyutov team approached the tournament leader Kaluga, now lagging behind the opponent by only two points.

In the next round, the teams will determine the strongest in the face-to-face confrontation, which is scheduled for Sunday, October 2. The starting whistle will sound at the Salyut stadium in Belgorod at 15:00.
