Gladkov: air defense systems are destroying drones over the Belgorod region
Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on the operation of air defense systems in the regional capital and suburbs.
“Our air defense system continues to operate over Belgorod and the Belgorod region,” Gladkov said, “and enemy drones are being destroyed.”
There have been no reports of casualties at this time.
According to preliminary data, “as a result of falling fragments of drones” in Belgorod, “garbage on the roof of a garage caught fire.” Also in the village of Blizhnaya Igumenka, a bathhouse near a private house caught fire.
The governor urged local residents to “stay away from windows and stay in a safe place” as the declared UAV threat continues to apply.
