Bastrykin will send “the most energetic investigators” to new regions

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, said that the most experienced and energetic investigators would create departments of the ICR in the new Russian regions.
He said this at a visiting meeting of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the Cossacks. According to Bastrykin, four new departments of the UK will be formed as soon as possible.
Previously Bastrykin held a meeting of the headquarters for the investigation of crimes in Mariupolwhich were committed by Ukrainian formations against the civilian population and Russian military personnel on the territory of the LPR, DPR and Ukraine.
In addition, during a trip to Mariupol, Bastrykin inspected the building of the Philharmonic in order to use it for holding significant trials in criminal cases.
