The head of the administration of a part of the Zaporozhye region, Evgeny Balitsky, said that a new federal district will appear in Russia. It will be formed after four new regions join it, Mr. Balitsky told reporters, his words are quoted “RIA News”. Details and the name are still being discussed, he noted.
“We talked, discussed how it will be, a new federal district will be created, its name and all other points are still being discussed,” the head of administration said.

The Crimean Federal District existed from 2014 to 2016 and consisted of Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea. Later, the subjects were included in the Southern Federal District.
