Balance: the budget of the Kherson region takes into account the right-bank part of the region

Acting Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo said that the expenses and revenues of the right-bank part of the region are taken into account in the budget for the first quarter of 2023. According to him, this is due to the fact that the authorities are counting on the soon return of the right bank of the Dnieper under Russian control. Russian troops left the right-bank part of the Kherson region in November last year.

“It is taken into account, because we still believe that in the foreseeable future Kherson will be liberated from temporary occupation. And what is happening now in Kherson once again emphasizes that when our Russian government was, for them (the inhabitants of the right bank of the Dnieper.— "b") was better, 100%,” said Vladimir Saldo (quoted by TASS).

On September 30, the Kherson region was included in Russia along with the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, as well as the Zaporozhye region. In October, Russia began to evacuate residents of Kherson to its territory. November 9 Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation decided withdraw Russian troops from the right bank of the Dnieper.

In December, Volodymyr Saldo reported that the budget of the Kherson region for August-December was used only by half due to the urgent evacuation of residents. According to him, declaredKherson left over 115 thousand people.
