Bakalchuk announced the appearance of services in Wildberries – Kommersant
In the near future, entrepreneurs will be able to sell their services through Wildberries, said the company's founder Tatyana Bakalchuk. She said that she had not previously considered Wildberries a marketplace.
"Now, after some time, yes, we could say that we have become a marketplace, because in addition to the goods that are located in our warehouse complexes, we began to provide a platform for any seller of services or goods - so far only goods, in the near future there will also be services. There was a period when I agreed that we are a marketplace," Ms. Bakalchuk said at the Eastern Economic Forum (quoted by "RIA Novosti").
Tatyana Bakalchuk owns 99% of Wildberries LLC, her husband Vladislav owns 1%. In June 2024, Wildberries announced a merger with Russ Group. Parties created joint venture RVB, in which 65% went to Wildberries LLC, 35% to Stinn LLC (its beneficiaries are the owners of Russ Group, brothers Levan and Robert Mirzoyan). Vladislav Bakalchuk publicly spoke out against the deal.
The conflict is covered in Kommersant’s article "Wildberries co-founders will argue over initials".
