In 2023, a Russian spends an average of 31.2% of his salary on renting a one-room apartment, according to a study by Avito Real Estate. The highest costs for renting a odnushka are recorded among residents of Sochi and Tyumen, 63% and 19% of wages, respectively. The most expensive in percentage terms is the rental of one-room apartments for residents of the southern part of Russia. So in Sochi, Simferopol and Sevastopol, the cost of renting a “odnushka” will cost 62%, 53% and 47%, respectively. Residents of Tyumen (19% of the total salary), Kirov (27%) and Chelyabinsk (28%) will be able to save most of their wages when renting a one-room apartment.

According to Avito Nedvizhimost, the rent of one-room apartments in Russia for the period from January to March 2023 increased by 17.6% compared to the same period last year.
