Clients of Russian travel agencies have not encountered a ban on leaving Russia, reported Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

Six tour operators surveyed by ATOR (Anex Tour, Pegas Touristik, Intourist, Russian Express, PAC Group, PAX) said that since the announcement of partial mobilization, none of their clients have lost the opportunity to relax abroad due to a travel ban.

ATOR Vice-President Artur Muradyan recommended that tourists flying abroad carry all printed documents for the tour, including round-trip tickets or itinerary receipts, a voucher and a tour agreement. He also recommended arriving at the airport three hours in advance, so that in case of unexpected conversations with the border guard, those departing would have extra time.

Recently, the media began to publish reports of a ban on travel abroad for men due to partial mobilization. According to four sources The Bell, lists of those mobilized are received at customs points at airports. According to them, some men of military age are already being checked and denied exit. First about such measures announced Tyumen airport Roschino.

Partial mobilization in Russia was announced on September 21, after which the Russians began to leave the country en masse. According to Reuters, almost 17,000 Russians crossed the border into Finland in five days. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, 40,000 Russians arrived in their country in five days. On September 25, a queue of 3,500 cars formed at the border with Georgia. The FSB sent armored personnel carriers with the military to the border with Georgia in order to maintain security if the reservists break through the border.
