Athletes from Teikovo successfully performed at the Sambo Championship of the Ivanovo Region

Ivanovo hosted the regional sambo championship among boys aged 16-18. These sambo competitions had the status of regional and one of the most prestigious in the region. The best sambists from all over the region came to Ivanovo to find out the strongest. In total, more than 50 athletes from almost all regional centers of the Ivanovo region took part in the tournament.
If we talk about those who distinguished themselves and were in leading roles, then we need to mention the athletes from Teikovo. They were represented at the regional competitions by the pupils of the martial arts section of the Teykovskaya Youth Sports School. Athletes from Teikovo took 2nd place in the team standings. Vladimir Chernyshev won the gold medal, Roman Malevan won silver, and several other athletes brought bronze medals to Teikovo.
