Athlete from Labytnanga became the champion of the mass race in Sochi
Marathon runner Alfred Sufyanov from Labytnanga became the winner in the age category 45+ at the mass run of the All-Russian Federal Socialist Educational Society “Labor reserves”. This was reported in the department of physical culture and sports of the YNAO.
The Yamal athlete covered a distance of 15 kilometers in 1 hour 14 minutes 18 seconds and took first place. The competitions were held on September 30 in Sochi at the RosGonki circuit, located on the basis of the Sirius federal territory. 200 amateur athletes from all over Russia came to the start.
Ahead of the marathon runner is participation in the Ironman triathlon for 226 kilometers. The start is scheduled for October 8 in Sochi.
On the eve it became known that firefighters from Noyabrsk took silver at the World Championship.
