Armenian Defense Ministry reported shelling of border positions by Azerbaijan

According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired mortars and small arms at the Armenian border positions.
The shelling took place on October 3 around 21:30 (20:30 Moscow time – TASS note).
The incident took place in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The Armenian side claims that mortars and large-caliber small arms were used.
Armenia added that “the enemy’s fire was suppressed.” There are no losses, the Armenian military department reported.
