The Ukrainian military shelled the village of Krasny Khutor in the Belgorod region, wrote Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling the village of Krasny Khutor in the Belgorod region again. According to the report of the head of the settlement, there are new destructions in 14 households. There are no previous casualties. Residents of the streets along the border were resettled yesterday,” he wrote.
The village of Krasny Khutor was shelled the day before. “From the side of Ukraine there is shelling of the territory of the village of Krasny Khutor. There is destruction,” the governor wrote at the time, adding that local residents were being taken to a safe distance.
On September 13, Gladkov reported on the shelling of the empty border village of Zhuravlevka, in which, according to him, only elderly people over 80 remained.
In early August, Gladkov reported that from September 1, only those schools that are located in the five-kilometer border zone in five municipalities will be closed – Krasnaya Yaruga, Grayvoron, Borisovka, Belgorod and Shebekinsky districts and districts. At the same time, the work of educational institutions in other settlements, including the city of Valuiki, will continue in the usual format.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, the Belgorod region has been repeatedly shelled. As a result, some settlements were resettled. Since April 11, the “yellow” level of terrorist danger has been in effect throughout the region, it has been extended many times, now it is valid until September 22.
