An athlete from Petrozavodsk won a bronze medal at competitions in St. Petersburg



In St. Petersburg, a wrestling festival was organized in five types of martial arts, timed to coincide with the 79th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade. According to the administration of Petrozavodsk, the festival brought together athletes from 12 to 17 from different regions of Russia.

A student of the freestyle wrestling department of the sports school of the Olympreserve No. 5 distinguished himself at the competitions. Alexander Vander won a bronze medal at the representative tournament. The athlete is trained by Natalia Znamenskaya.
