An athlete from Khakassia took the bronze of the Russian championship in athletics.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Khakassia, about 300 athletes from 29 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition.
Khakassia was represented at the Russian championship in athletics by Vladislav Kononenko, a graduate of the Olympic Reserve Sports School in Abakan. At a distance of 1 kilometer, the athlete finished third, losing to athletes from the Republic of Tatarstan and the Chuvash Republic.
The department adds that Vladislav Kononenko trains under the guidance of Andrei Romashchenko.
