American expert: Ukraine’s accession to NATO could provoke a world war

Professor of political science at the University of Rhode Island, ex-state department representative Mykola Petro warned NATO countries against agreeing to Ukraine’s entry into the ranks of the alliance.
“There is a threat that such a step endangers global peace and stability,” the expert believes.
At the same time, Petro admitted that he had absolutely no confidence that “this will not happen.”
“Preparatory intellectual work to make a world war look like something ‘normal’ is already underway. Ultimately, we are already at war,” he added.
