In 18 districts of St. Petersburg, work began to mobilize the population to participate in the military operation in Ukraine. About it informed Governor Alexander Beglov at a meeting of the city mobilization commission.
Deputy head of the commission, city commissar Sergei Kachkovsky said that “the mobilization deployment base has started working”: notification areas, notification headquarters and points of preliminary gathering of citizens.
How many people are being mobilized in St. Petersburg is unknown. The release of the press service of the city administration says that “the number of conscripts and the terms are determined by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.”
