After the loss, the head coach of Spartak called Traktor an aggressive team

The coach of Moscow hockey players, Alexei Zhmaev, did not expect his team to win a victory over the Chelyabinsk team on his birthday.

The game between Spartak and Traktor yesterday ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the Chelyabinsk team. Commenting on the game after the match, Alexey Zhmaev complained that he expected a good game from his hockey players on his birthday, which fell precisely on the confrontation with the “tractor drivers,” but the score on the scoreboard clearly did not please the Spartak coach.

“You must have a cool head. And our heads were left in the locker room or in the hotel when they were sleeping. My thoughts were elsewhere, not at the game,” the official KHL website quotes Alexei Zhmayev as saying.

Answering the question about how difficult Traktor is for Spartak, Zhmaev called the Chelyabinsk team a good team, noting that they play aggressive hockey.

Previously "MK-Chelyabinsk" wrote that Metallurg head coach Andrei Razin called the game against Lada ugly.
